| 説明 | Cub Lake is a smaller (of course) lake in Rocky Mountain National Park, the lake is 2.5 miles from the trail head in Moraine Park. The lake is marshy and 80+% covered by lily pads. Looks like a great place for moose but there were none this day, not that surprising since it was mid-day. The mountain in the background is 12992 foot Stones Peak.The whole area was burned over by a rare winter fire in 2012-2013. The fire was the Fern Lake fire that stared with an illegal campfire in the heavily forested, dry and beetle damaged forest canyon that leads up to Fern Lake. |
