説明 | In 1931, New York-based mobster Charles "Lucky" Luciano hosted the first ever Crime Convention in the Crystal Ballroom here in the Blackstone Hotel. The purpose of it was to establish a board of directors for the National Crime Syndicate. The meeting was suggested by Al Capone's predecessor Johnny Torrio.In 1987, the famous Capone baseball bat scene in the movie "The Untouchables" was filmed here. Located at 636 S. Michigan Ave. |
