| 説明 | This annual species is common on sandy and gravelly soils. The terminal spike is just emerging through the leaf sheath. These bunchgrasses in this population all stand less than 6 inches (15 cm) tall. The inflorescence or terminal spike becomes a solid burr-like structure at maturity. This site lies in Yellowstone National Park, along the old highway between Gardiner and Mammoth, Park County, Montana. |
