説明 | Place: Liping, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou ProvinceChinese name: 黄海旗胜V3 (huánghǎi qíshèng V3)Year of launch: 2010There used to be a staggering amount of Chinese carmakers producing some pick-up or SUV based on the 1988 Isuzu TF/Faster/Rodeo, with brands including Great Wall, Foton, Huanghai (Shuguang), ZX Auto (Zhongxing), Tianqi Meiya, Wanfeng, Xinkai, JMC (Jiangling), BAW, Changfeng, Foday (Fudi), Dongfeng, FAW, Jinbei, Higer, Gonow, JAC (Jianghuai) and the likes. Huanghai, which means Yellow Sea. It refers to the place where Huanghai is based: Dandong, Liaoning, not far from the Yellow Sea, the largest border city, just across the river from North Korea. This connection also explains why North Korean carmaker Pyeonghwa Motors produced a few Huanghai models under license. Huanghai is a make of SG Automotive, which was founded in 1995. Through the years it made copies of the Kia Sorento Mk1 (also with Hyundai Santa Fe Mk2 front end), Lexus RX Mk2 (also with Pontiac Torrent front end), Isuzu D-MAX and numerous variations on the old Isuzu TF platform, including a SsangYong Rexton and Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 120 look-alike and this Chevrolet Colorado Thai-spec look-alike. It recently launched the new N3 pick-up.Based on the Huanghai Faster NCV shown in 2008, which never went into production, Huanghai launched the Landscape V3 in 2010.
