Check it out!I feel like I must be a little defensive for this shot, as many folks who see this will be like, "Oh, didn't Dustin Diaz do that shot yesterday?" Yes. Yes he did. But you know what? I'm still pretty new at this and I just want to try some new ideas out myself. You wouldn't balk if I did water drop shots, would you?Oh, and this is my Sigg water bottle. It goes everywhere with me, and it has been dropped often. I love it.Strobist info:1 sb-600 through home-made straw grid, 1/2 CTO gel, six feet high and aimed down at subject at 1/32.1 sb-600 camera left, through a 12 inch home-made cardboard snoot and amber gel, 1/64. This strobe was aimed at a series of beer bottles and wine glasses (and whatever else was up there) to give the bokeh ring background.There's also a reflector to the left of the subject for fill.Triggered with Cactus V4s |
