| 説明 | ... 007, MrBill, Columbo, Charly Chan's number one grandson and all the posse riders strained their eyes to see who was coming toward them from the town. As they got closer, 007 saw The Goldeneye riding in the center; on his right was what looked like a hired gun and on his left was the Mayor or Whistle Stop.007 cautioned his men to stay alert, but not to panic and warned that one accidental shot might set off a world catastrophy. Who knew what the Goldeneye had already designed and set in motion for his evil plan?The Goldeneye had a white hankerchief tied around his left arm as a sign of truce. The mayor spoke first.The mayor seemed frightened and his voice was shaky as he said, "We have a plan for a peaceful resolution to this matter and we don't want the women and children to be exposed to danger and violence. Mr. Goldeneye will explain it to you."The Goldeneye smiled and said, "I am perfectly willing to face a jury of my peers and be exhonorated for whatever charges you plan to bring. I have done no wrong, but we need one hour to secure the village for safety and for me to pay the cooks, housekeepers and other local employees. It would not be fair to leave and them not unpaid for their services. When that is accomplished, I'll ride out here alone and you may take me back to Phoenix for indictment, if indeed you have any probably cause at all for an arrest."007 was silent for a moment, then looked back at his team and gave a slight nod. The nod was returned by most of the team. 007 then said to The Goldeneye, "We'll be waiting and you are to be here not one second later than one hour.
