| 説明 | 1952 Volvo PV834 "Suggan" Ambulance.Beautiful metal emblem of the falcon, "mascot" of Falck emergency services. Attach to the rear door.On display at the CRAA 2014 event by Falck Museet.Delivered to Falck, Rønne, in 1952. This was the first Falck ambulance on the island of Bornholm, where it served for 16 years until retired in 1968.The car is a Volvo PV834, part of Volvo's 800-series, often refered to as "Suggan" (the sow)The 800's were intended for use as taxis, but models 833 and 834 were delivered as CKD, chassis only, for customers with special desires, most often that would be ambulances. A total of 2081 PV833/834 were made between 1950 and 1958.The annual CRAA (Classic Race Aarhus) vintage motoring event attracts an ever increasing participation from both drivers and spectators.The classic car parks of the event (there are 2, one outside by the main entrance and one in "Mindeparken") are always a good place to spot interesting vintage vehicles from practically any era of motoring. Many visitors spend a lot of time here, enjoying the sights. |
