| 説明 | My last day in Azerbaijan- today on the itinerary was a visit to a historic wet market in Sheki followed by a drive to the remote village of Lahij. Pictures of that later in this album, but here is a shot taken while I was walking into the ancient fruit and veg market of Sheki. Nothing excited me more than a visit to a market for fresh produce and so I was pretty thrilled about it. And being the first stop of the day, I was feeling pretty fresh too. This scene reminded me of the fruit and vegetable market in my own hometown Poona (Pune) in Western India. (Sheki, Azerbaijan, Sept. 2017) |
