説明 | Alyssum desertorum is abundant in a recently burned and bull-dozed area but co-occurs with many native plant species, in addition to other exotics such as Bromus tectorum and Sisymbrium altissimum. Alyssum desertorum produces glabrous fruits with short styles <1 mm long) and that are compressed in the same plane as the septum (the main vein runs around the edge of the fruit and not up the middle of it). This site lies in the Wyoming big sagebrush steppe of the Idaho National Laboratory, north of the main south entrance, Butte County, Idaho. |
