説明 | The St. Valentine's Day Massacre happened on Feb. 14, 1929. Allegedly, Al Capone's men, disguised as police, shot seven members of George "Bugs" Moran's gang (actually five plus two non-gangsters, a retired optometrist and a car mechanic.)This photo shows a close-up look at one of the bullet holes. Like the bullet holes in the Holy Name Cathedral cornerstone, these appear as shallow bowls cut into the stone.Originally located at 2122 N. Clark St. in Chicago.Now resides at The Mob Museum, 300 Stewart Avenue in Las Vegas, NV. |
