| 説明 | A tourist snaps a picture of the large courtyard of the Sheki caravansarai. (never mind the WC signs in the background). The courtyard is actually behind me now, and pictures of it appeared earlier on in this album. (see previous pictures). A delightful tunnel leads to what looks like a garden at the other end. That is actually a restaurant attached to the Sheki caravansarai hotel. I have read pretty bad reviews about the Sheki caravansarai hotel, including the attached restaurants which we are told are grossly overpriced. We followed a friendly Arabic family as they opened one of the locked rooms in the caravansarai but then beat a hasty retreat when they informed us that they are staying here and this is actually their room in the hotel.
