| 説明 | This week, we recorded the stories of 12 local activists who dared to change the world. We interviewed members of the Mill Valley Community Action Network (MVCAN), our grassroots political action group. This photo set covers our production for the video interviews we shot at my home studio over two days: Sunday, August 27 and Saturday, September 2, 2017. Here are the MVCAN members we talked to on Sunday: Natalie Frederick, Peter Graumann, June Cooperman, Susan Bolle, Suz Lipman and Carol Korenbrot. On Saturday, we spoke with Danny Altman, Laura Boles, Matt Jaffe, Lisa Ristorucci, Eileen Fisher and Bernard CatalinottoWe talked about their reactions to recent news events and how they took political action in response. The interviews show each activist against a black background, head and shoulders only, with great lighting. They were expertly shot by our friend Gary Yost, a talented filmmaker, as a labor of love. We will edit a number of videos from those interviews in October: a year-in-review montage and short vignettes and community profiles. These videos will premiere in our November event, and will be shared on the MVCAN site and through social media at that time. Our activists found their voice and spoke up, loud and clear. We hope they will inspire more people to take political action. Their acts of resistance did more than just liberate them: they can engage millions more to stand up for liberty and justice.
