| 説明 | Trying to see dark beauty of clearcut field. As these views are becoming more common, why not to shoot some photos and try to see some beauty. This was a dark spruce forest so I let it stay dark in these photos. There is widely supported view in Finland among forest industry and politicians (our government supports this view) that this is the way to go to help to combat climate change. They say that old forests (and old forest in Southern Finland means probably little over 60 years) are really bad for climate change as the new young ones grow faster and Finland is a good example how to reduce climate change. And the same people are very concerned how they destroy forests in Brazil or other places. Obviously only the Finns know how to cut trees the right way. What about biodiversity?
