| 説明 | Shortly after buying my Canon 1DsIII I started the process of switching from DSLR to Mirrorless and I decided to go with Sony rather than any other make and I decided that I needed to go with Full-Frame and I discovered almost immediately that good glass made a big difference.As Sony Full-Frame Lenses are very expensive a friend suggested that I should consider getting Sigma Art lenses that would be suitable for my Canon IDsIII and by using the Sigma MC-11 adapter could be mounted on my Sony A7RII body. To be honest I am not keen on adapters but the MC-11 is supposed to be excellent.At the moment I only have one lens for my Canon and it is an old Sigma 14-24mm, all my other lens are on loan to some of my friends. This morning I tried the Canon/Sigma combination and to be honest it was not a pleasing experience as there were many issues but one problem was the weight … unfortunately this indicates that I might be unhappy with the weight of the Fuji GFX 50S [which I am considering]. I always had an AF problem with the Canon and this was very evident today [apparently some Mark III had an auto-foucus bug]. I should mention that I have used the Sigma 14-24mm lens with my Sony A7RII [via a Metabones adapter] and it gave better images that I got using it with the Canon but every four or five minutes the camera froze. My Metabones adapter was a bad buy.Today I had serious dust problems and had to crop many of my photographs as a result. I had forgotten that I had to get my D1s sensor cleaned professionally three or four times a year at a cost of Euro 45 each time. My Sony A7R2 has only been cleaned once and at no cost to me.At this stage I suspect that I will continue to buy Sony native lenses and forget about the Sigma ART lenses … I might consider the new Sigma 14mm 1.8 Prime but that is all. |
