説明In Dijon for a morning walking tour of the city. We had free time at lunchtime. We arrived before 10am, and had to leave by 2pm that day. Rue de la Liberté from Rue des Godrans.La Maison du Miroir - now Pharmacie du Miroir. In the Middle Ages, the Mirror House was erected here : it has been built in the 13th century and in the 15th century, it became the town residence of the monks of the Chartreuse de Champmol.Abandoned in the 17th century, decaying, it was bought by the town in 1767, to be destroyed when the rue des Godrans was opened. It may have been named after the fact that from the first floor of the house, people could watch the street and the royal or princely visits, on which occasions the house itself was decorated. (in Old French, "mirer" meant: to look at).The Mirror Corner is familiar to the inhabitants of the town and has remained as a living memory despite the destruction of the building.House with Three FacesThe house with three faces is a half-timbered house of the xv th century from Dijon in Cote d'Or , at the corner 54, 56 rue de la Liberté and rue Bossuet 1. It has been classified as a historic monument since3 February 1971This house divided into three parts and made up of three gabled pines is built between 1450 - 1470 , it was inhabited by the monks of Chartreux.Tower seen down Rue Bossuet. Is now part of Théâtre Dijon Bourgogne - Parvis Saint-JeanCDN Theatre Dijon BourgogneChurch of Saint John of DijonThe Church of St. John of Dijon is a church catholic disused of Gothic style of the XIV and xv th century , located at Dijon in Côte-d'Or in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and dedicated to Saint John . It has been classified as a historical monument since 1862 and has been the home of the Théâtre Dijon-Bourgogne (or "Théâtre du parvis Saint-Jean" or "parvis Saint-Jean") since 1974 .From 1448 to 1470 under the dukes Philip III of Burgundy and Charles the Bold (the heyday of the Dukes of Burgundy and the Burgundy State ), the church (then collegiate of canons ) is built in flamboyant Gothic style on the site of a chapel and Basilica dating from the end of iv th century (end of the Roman empire ).During the French Revolution, the church became a national property and served among other things as a market . The arrows and turrets are destroyed and the chorus is truncated at the xix th century to clear the place Bossuet. The church was returned to worship in 1862 and then desecrated and disused again in 1972 . In 1974 it was renovated while preserving the best remains of the xv th century to house the Dijon-Bourgogne Theater (or "Theater forecourt St. John" or "Court Saint John").The bishop and writer Jacques Bénigne Bossuet ( 1627 - 1704 ) was born nearby (where his statue outside the church, instead Bossuet).
