| 説明 | In Dijon for a morning walking tour of the city. We had free time at lunchtime. We arrived before 10am, and had to leave by 2pm that day. Rue de la Liberté near Rue Dr Maret.This was my only look at the Cathédrale Saint-Bénigne de Dijon. Although we didn't get close to it, the view is not too far from the Place Darcy.The Saint-Bénigne Dijon Cathedral is a church oriented gothic style of xiii th century in the center of saved Dijon . The building is dedicated to Saint Benignus of Dijon ( martyr Christian the ii th century). Abbey of Saint-Bénigne Abbey Dijon ( vi th century) became belatedly cathedral in 1792 after the church Dijon Saint Etienne who had received the first seat of the Bishop of Dijon created in 1731, It has been classified as a historical monument since 1862 1 and the crypt has been classified as a historic monument since 1846 . It is the largest building in Dijon with a height of 93 meters. |
