My photos are FREE to use, just give me credit and it would be nice if you let me know, thanks.Miner's House, one side from 1850's and the other from 1900's. The coal company owned everything in the town including the houses.The miners had a simple life and did not own much. If a miner was injured and unable to work another member of the family would have to replace him in the mine. If they could not replace him they would be removed from the house. |
