| 説明 | This is a shot from inside the Apple II test house, on the Nevada test site. The house was one of several set up to measure the effects of a 29 kiloton explosion in 1955 (that's roughly one and a half times as powerful as the Hiroshima explosion). Mannequins were placed inside the house to see how people and the structure itself would fare in an atomic blast. This house survived, although others closer to the blast were destroyed. |
