| 説明 | Messing about with post-processing. The subject is a window of the bullring at Tomar, Portugal.Canon 350D, Sigma 18-200 (162mm), f/9.0 1/800second ISO 200. Handheld in strong afternoon sunliight.Selected the white areas of the wall only and applied a reasonably heavy gaussian blur, applied a dark vignette to the left hand end by using a black to white gradient as a semi opaque layer over the image (with mode set to multiply), sharpened the whole image severely, this gave the metalwork a strange halo glow, I don't know why. Rotated to make upright metal upright and cropped to correct. Added a 10 pixel border from colour droppered from the metalwork. All done using Gimp/Linux.I don't normally mess with my photos this much, but I wanted a simple subject to combine with postprocessing to appear just a little abnormal. It's how I feel when I imagine looking out through the window.The lens is new too. It is not easy to focus manually and it's not great in low light, but I am really enjoying it. |
