| 説明 | During our stay in Death Valley we took a fairly long drive to Wildrose Canyon which is separate from the main valley and on the back side of some of the high mountain range between the valley and the Sierra Mountains.Here we found abandoned Charcoal Kilns and I took this shot with the snow-covered Sierra range in the background. The kilns, in Wildrose Canyon, stand 25 feet high and were built in 1877 to provide charcoal for lead and silver smelting at nearby mines. |
