| 説明 | This isolated bothy sits in a fine position approximately one mile east of the Alltbeithe Youth Hostel. the bothy is now in the care of the Mountain Bothies Association though previously it belonged to the Corrimulzie Mountaineering Club, whose members were predominately St Andrews University students. Philip Tranter was a leading member of the club who was unfortunately killed in a road accident in France following a climbing expedition to Turkey, proof if it were required that travelling is every bit as dangerous as climbing mountains. Unfortunately I have not been able to find information Alastair Park the other member of the Corriemulzie MC memorialised here. In the picture Gary is cooling off his feet, he has been trying out some new socks which incorporate individual pockets for each toe! think of a glove.. an unfortunate (for him) side effect is that the feet become very hot. |
