| 説明 | When the call went out for photographers for Artrocker's festival in 2006, I knew by recommendation of Phil at Rounder which band I wanted to cover. They put up with some dull shots I took of them indoors but with persuasion agreed to the one place nearby the Buffalo Bar with reliable artificial light. This could well have been the last photo from the shoot I took and is by far the best but never got into print. Even before they'd released a record, they were already close and confident as a group, pleasant to all involved but clearly sure of themselves. Though Artrocker was clearly enthusiastic about them, their reviewer on the night gave them an undeserved duff write-up. As seen in the Journal - www.journal-online.co.uk/article/8101-the-maccabees |
