| 説明 | A real grab shot on a dark, cold,damp grey morning I think it is at the end of Hansastr, Dresden Neustadt. . Tatra 201 002-0 works car passes beneath some green Reichsbahn express carriages in the station above. There is something odd about the spacing of the Kennzeichen of the West Berlin registered BMW car. B - VH9573 which is chasing the trabant.The first ever Tatra T4D tram was placed in service in Dresden in 1967,numbered 2000. 572 Motor cars of this type were bought in the next 16 years plus 250 trailers. Further use after Dresden has seen them on the streets of Almaty ,Kazakhstan.Some nice pics of Dresden trams with english narrative on this nice Hungarian web-site which is worth exploring.Get your fill of former GDR works cars here including a picture of this tram, 201 002-0. Another picture from 1998 is here when a grinding car.Later modified to be an electrical wire greasing car.
