| 説明 | APG Survivor Outreach Services saluted Armed Services Week with the annual Run to Honor, the annual tribute to fallen service members and their Survivors. About 350 Soldiers, civilians, family members and Survivors participated in the 5K walk/run or 5-mile run, according to SOS coordinator Mike Farlow.Maj. Gen. Kirk Vollmecke, PEO C3T, welcomed participants and offered thanks to participating Survivors. Five Survivor families participated in the run. They included RDECOM Command Sgt. Maj. Martin “Marty” Argulo and his daughter Valentina, age 11, for Staff Sgt. Lonideirdre Angulo, Dec. 5, 2010; Amber Baum and her daughter Leia, 9 whose father, Sgt. Ryan J. Baum died May 18, 2007, 11 days before her birth; Katie Hart for her husband Staff Sgt. Bradley C. Hart, Feb. 17, 2017; and Carmelita Johnson and sons Christopher, 12, and Phillip, 8 for 1st Lt. Daniel Johnson, Jan. 4, 2013, formerly of the 22D Chemical Battalion (TE) at APG South (Edgewood). |
