| 説明 | Monday 20th March 2017 saw the first visit of one of the new Hitachi Class 800 trains to Swansea. The new fleet is due to start taking over services between south Wales and London during 2017, replacing the current High Speed Trains (HSTs). Here the unit 800002 is seen after arrival at Swansea on its journey from the IEP depot at Stoke Gifford. The train reversed here to gain access to the nearby Mailphant IEP - one of the sites at which the new fleet will receive maintenance. |
