Non c’è dubbio: la tecnologia è penetrata profondamente anche in questo lato dell’esistenza umana, un lato dell’esistenza che è sempre stato considerato come intoccabile e poco adatto al caos e all’informalità del digitale e al chiassoso ambiente dei social network. Cosa resterà, allora, della nostra vita digitale? Che fine faranno tutti i nostri dati – e-mail, tweet, status, fotografie e video – dopo la nostra morte? Rimarranno immortali, o ci potrà essere un oblio delle informazioni? Che forme prenderà, in definitiva, la nostra eredità digitale? There is no doubt: technology has also entered this aspect of human existence, an aspect which has always been regarded as untouchable and poorly suited to the chaos and informality of the digital space and the boisterous environment of social networks. What will remain of our digital lives? What will happen to all of our data – emails, tweets, status, photos and videos – after our death? Will they become immortal, or could this information enter oblivion? What will happen to our digital legacy?
