説明 | Maryland National Guard service members were honored during a military appreciation and hometown heroes appreciation Towson University lacrosse games at Johnny Unitas Stadium, Towson, Md., March 25, 2017. Before the men’s lacrosse game, Command Sgt. Maj. Thomas Beyard tossed the coin at midfield.After the first quarter, 1st Lt. Meghan Landymore, Medical Detachment, Joint Force Headquarters, Sgt. Denajah Prescott, 629th Signal Company and Recruiting and Retention Battalion, 1st Sgt. Tyler Thomas, Company D, 1-175 Infantry, Staff Sgt. Rachel Walter, HHC, 58th Expeditionary Military Intelligence Brigade, and Tech. Sgt. Derek White, 175th Civil Engineering Squadron were honored on the field. Landymore, Thomas, and Walter were on the 2016 All National Guard Marathon Team. Prescott leads her unit’s fitness program and personally helps struggling Soldiers who are struggling with physical training. White was selected as the winner of the naming contest for the new Air Force Long-Range Bomber, the B21, and was selected as the 2016 Maryland Air National Guard Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year.Before the Women’s lacrosse game, Maj.
