| 説明 | This salt works caught my eye, the carmine-pink color of the drying salt made quite a contrast with the surrounding terrain. I think the color is due to the algae Dunaliella salina that populates the salt brine.Climbing up a hill to get this photo, I had an unpleasant discovery. As I ran up, I plunged through a thicket of barbed seeds that embedded themselves in my running shoes and socks. They were quite persistent, I was never able to remove them all.
