説明 | On the Grand Union Canal in Hatton. This end not far from Shrewley.I had walked from the Hatton Locks. The towpath was a bit muddy.There is an exit at bridge no. 56, that leads up to Station Road and Hatton Station (gate at the top).The Station House is to the left.Grade II listed building under Shrewley.Station House, Shrewley SHREWLEY Hatton Junction 9/262 Station House - - II Small late C18 red brick house. Plain tile roof with gabled and hipped ends. Brick dentil eaves. Two storeys. Three bays, right hand is circa mid C19 addition. Sashes with glazing bars in segmental-headed openings, ground floor with small keystones. Central doorway with moulded architrave with dentilled cornice and fielded panel door. Brick ridge stacks. Built on canal side and originally a public house, later the station master's house for adjacent Hatton Station.
