| 説明 | A temple behind the bar street was quite a contrast! Imagine a touch of culture in an area probably renowned for the lack of it! My guide was getting impatient as we had circumambulated the are twice already- he wanted to head to our next destination. I coaxed him to take just one more round to see if I could get any other interesting pictures- there is just this much you can get driving around a busy area in a large car. We had to hit one of the back streets to complete this round where I was surprised to spot this temple which was being decorated for a festival. Interesting, while back streets of dodgy areas are generally only more dodgy, here all the culture of the area is on the back streets! (Bali, Indonesia, May 2018) |
