説明 | (1 in a multiple picture album)Those who visit Bryce Canyon National Park often don't know of Mossy Cave Trail just outside the main park. It is an excellent walk through the voodoos with lots of trees to break up the red color. The Tropic Ditch shown in the bottom of the picture is man made. Its purpose is to bring water down from the higher elevations to the agricultural town of Tropic which lies east of the park. Even in the late summer there was enough water flowing to make its waterfall worth the hike. When it rains, or when the snow melts, the ditch runs fast. |
