Now we are off to the Czech Republic and Prague.I leave Vienna knowing I managed to see what I wanted (was here twice before). I saw the Imperial Treasury, Belvedere Palace and now the Carriage Museum, I had seen many other great places on my other trips and it is a fantastic city.----------------------------------------------------------------------------Schönbrunn Palace is the former summer residence of the imperial family. It was completed in 1780 during the reign of Maria Theresa, the palace was the favorite residence of the Habsburg monarchs.Did not go inside but made a very quick trip to the carriage museum. |
