| 説明 | One of my students gave me a copy of What's Cooking - Vegetarian by Jenny Sacy for Christmas a few years ago and it's been sitting on our kitchen shelf with about ten other gift vegetarian cookbooks ever since.This weekend, I decided to try one of the recipes from it and in spite of the ominous name, chose Vegetable Toad In The Hole.It came out pretty well! The basic T-in-H technique was intriguing and suggests a lot of other uses. We're thinking about trying a more Mediterranian version with onions, capers, artichokes, olives and feta.Not a spectatular, wake the kids, phone the neighbors success, but a definite success, nonetheless. |
