| 説明 | A lady in traditional Vietnamese garb shows us how to make spring rolls using parts if the Elephant -ear fish and other fresh ingredients. This is in the Mekong Delta,Vietnam. Due to it's large size, one Elephant-ear gourami is served to a table of five or six people. In our case, there were four of us, and although the fish was delicious, we had a tough time finishing all of it. Our guide informed us that Elephant- ear fish are grown in the many farms around this area. No wonder there are so many to go around! This is one of my Instagram photos, taken in less than ideal conditions with my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 cellphone, so please excuse the mediocre photo quality. (Mekong Delta, Vietnam, Nov. 2016) |
