| 説明 | Across the road at the far end of the Nguyen Hue walking street in Saigon is the Ho Chi Minh City Hall or Hôtel de Ville de Saïgon, formerly known as the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Head office. This structure was built in 1902-1908 in a French colonial style for the then city of Saigon. It was renamed after 1975 as Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. It is not open to the public but you are free to take pictures of and around the building. This picture was taken in less than ideal conditions hand held and without flash, so please excuse the mediocre photo quality. (Saigon/ HCM, Vietnam, Nov. 2016) |
