| 説明 | It turned out that the vendor offered fried squid, with various sauces and MSG and a grilled version. He seemed to be frying the stuff in margarine, or a pat of some sort of fat. You can see his frying pan at the extreme right. He was already frying a squid for someone, maybe it was for his own consumption. My good guide, who was already very uncomfortable trying this chap's wares, would have nothing to do with the fried version and decided that the grilled version was safer. So here the vendor is, grilling one squid for us. A short video clip of this process follows soon after this, but it is unfortunately not available to my viewers on Facebook due to technical issues.
