| 説明 | Woodrush (or cleft) sedge, is abundant in moist meadows of the Sierra Nevada especially along the JMT. It is perhaps the most common sedge in this area, at least in moist meadows. The perigynia beaks are sometimes sparsely setose. This species seems nearly indistinguishable from Carex fissuricola, cleft sedge, that later of which has a wide more-purple-pigmented sheath of the inflorescence bract. This site is located between the two Palisade Lakes north of Mather Pass. |
