| 説明 | Anahita Shahbazi, Sue Kim, Yie Yang, Rong Fang, and Lisa Carlson test out the newly acquired mobile mapping grade scanner from ODOT as part of the 3D laser scanning and imaging course at OSU.After our Geometronics unit purchased a new survey grade mobile mapper in 2015, the old mapping grade scanner wasn’t needed anymore. DAS advertised the sale to all state agencies. OSU’s Civil Engineering Geomatics program, a class that trains future surveyors, quickly pounced on the opportunity, Instead of trading dollars, we worked out a deal to trade the scanner for research services. Research Coordinator Kira Glover-Cutter and the Research Unit team finalized the details of a memorandum of understanding for this special case. Both ODOT and OSU consider it a big win for each agency. |
