| 説明 | The North Carolina Army National Guard hosts a welcome home ceremony for the 505th Engineer Battalion at the Bethlehem Church in Gastonia, N.C. on Nov. 30, 2018. The 505th is headquartered in Gastonia, with its higher headquarters, the 130th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade based in Charlotte.Over 170 Soldiers of the 505th deployed in support Operation Spartan Shield. This is the unit’s forth overseas deployment since 9-11. Previously, the 505th deployed overseas in support of Operation Noble Eagle, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom.
