説明 | While refilling a soap dispenser a couple days ago some bubbles formed. It had been a long time since I'd tried shooting the diffraction interference patterns in bubbles, so decided to try it again. Next time I'll try to remember to add some glycerin so the bubbles will last longer before collapsing. I also need to try to figure out how to create a few large bubbles instead of a lot of smaller ones. Still, I had a great time and ended up with a few shots I liked. I poured the soapy water into a small narrow glass that was set in a small glass bowl, which was set on top of my LED array which lit the bubbles from below. I had a sheet of parchment paper over the LEDs to diffuse the light, but in several shots the individual LEDs are still visible, so obviously I need a couple more layers of parchment paper. |
