| 説明 | Another pose, and another very tricky exposure due to the darkness of the cave interior coupled with the bright floodlighting on light coloured rock behind me. Using flash would have rendered the photo useless, so the auto Iso set itself to Iso 2800, leading to over exposure to the background and to my face. The Stop sign is for a small cave, a cranny actually, behind me, which is closed to the public. You can see a red wire running on the floor of the background cave, just behind the stop sign. This probably means that this is the switchboard or control chamber for the flood lights. Oooooh, I then began to wonder who the workmen will walk back to the outside of the cave once the lights have been switched off. Scary! That's probably when those bats and snakes come out! Probably not, there was no bat poo or guano to suggest the presence of bats anywhere around. (Ha Long Bay, Vietnam, Nov. 2016) |
