| 説明 | This video shows the entire ride through the access tunnel from Amsteg to the intersection with the cable tunnel and a feed point cavern of the Gotthard Base Tunnel. Also a look at St. Barbara and a view into the cable tunnel. Because of the difference in temperature, the windscreen fogged slightly. Apart from a few intercoms, there are no safety installations here. Visitors who go on a guided tour are the most not aware of the danger here. Everyone carry along a self-rescue system, but when a car catches fire in the access tunnel, it becomes critical for those at the far end of the facility. Visitors are subject to increased health requirements. You must submit in advance a corresponding form for visiting this plant. Switzerland, Nov 8, 2016. (23/23)Update:On January 29, 2024, a private security company's vehicle caught fire in a side tube of the Gotthard Base Tunnel on the south side. 29 workers had to be evacuated with the LRZ fire and rescue train from Biasca. Ten of them were taken to hospital as a precaution because of suspected smoke inhalation. |
