| 説明 | The 1931 Chevrolet AE Independence got a longer wheelbase and now available in Standard or Deluxe models, the Deluxe with chrome plated wire mesh grill.Eight body styles were available; 2 door Coupe, Sport Coupe, Coach, Roadster, Sport Roadster and 4 door Sedan, Club Sedan and PhaetonIn 1926, General Motors Australia was established with assembly plants built in five States, they built many different brands including Chevrolet. Chassis and mechanicals were imported from the US, bodies were produced by Holden Motor Body Builders of South Australia.In 1931, General Motors Australia purchased Holden Motor Body Builders and then became General Motors Holden.
