| 説明 | Russell, Bay of Islands 29 OctUp and out at 0615. I walked up Flagstaff Hill, which is so named because the flagstaff kept getting cut down by Maori... and put back up by English. A good panoramic view from the hill. Walking around town, I also saw the Victorian police station and some other cottages. There were some outrigger canoes on the strand.I got back and we had a simple brekky. We jump in the car and catch the ferry. I like seeing the Red-backed gull. We stopped very briefly in Whangarei. We are back in Auckland in less than 4 hours. We check into our hotel, and then I return the car to ARF - no problems.i103005 110 |
