| 説明 | My elderly taxi driver suddenly stopped upon hitting this view around a curve. Wadda, normal, wadda, he said. Wadda apparently meant water, and normal was a word he used several hundred times during the day to denote good, nice, beautiful, excellent and anything positive. And it is surely a 'normal' or beautiful scene, isn't it? This is the Jinvali/ Zhinvali reservoir just outside Tbilisi. I guess the water supply to Tbilisi town comes from here. The views are really amazing - hills and the clear, blue waters. This is on the way travelling from Tbilisi to Stepantsminda (Kazbegi). (Kazbegi/ Stepantsminda, Georgia, Sept. 2016) |
