Then, there are the artists who spin music with their artistic performances.A DJ who has greatly influenced my musical taste performs at Happy Clam Island. DJ Alexi Ayres is a performer. She presents events and happenings while she spins.Most of her presentations take you on a musical journey for the soul and mind. Beautifully presented with words and music, she sets an environment unlike a club presence. Very ethereal, very spiritual in design.Another presenter is DJ Alienspeaking. In the wee hours of the morning, Raver sent a tp to hear the chipmunk voice of the alienspeak. The dj is an alien in green. A mood is instantly set for this artful music. There are others, such as Nur Moo at Poetika, artist Colemarie and dark psy disciple, Pan Tripsa. All create an atmosphere for a total immersion into their world.When art and music is combined, the outcome is unforgettable. Both enhance, both make you think. |
