| 説明 | The UC Davis College of Engineering is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2015-16 Outstanding Faculty Awards. The recipients were nominated by their respective departments, and selected by the college’s Awards Committee of faculty members. The professors received the awards honoring their exceptional accomplishments at a special reception at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5 in the Courtyard of Shields Library. More info: engineering.ucdavis.edu/events/7796/ Nael El-Farra, a professor in the UC Davis Department of Chemical Engineering, has earned the Outstanding Faculty Teaching Award. The Outstanding Senior Faculty Research Award this year goes to Bruce Gates, UC Davis Department of Chemical Engineering Distinguished Professor. UC Davis Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering Professor Jason T. DeJong has earned the Outstanding Mid-Career Faculty Research Award. An assistant professor in the UC Davis Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Stavros G. Vougioukas has been selected for the Outstanding Junior Faculty Award.Photos by Reeta Asmai |
