| 説明 | It's MOT time again! This is Mersey Motorcycles, my preferred testing station, and it was a busy morning there.That black Triumph in the foreground was a bonkers machine.It doesn't have a chain, transferring all that power in that super heavy machine through a rubber belt! Odd, but it seems to work. It was there for the mechanic to suss out how hard it would be to change the brake pads and his verdict was "a twat of a job". The weird design means that you have to completely remove the back wheel to change the rear pads. Not as crazy as the Bentley that needs the engine dropping to change the plugs, but not a million miles off.Blessedly my lovely, simple bike sailed though. I was a bit nervous that the tester owns the same model himself so knows the bike backwards, but he was impressed with mine and was perplexed how my bike could be in better condition than his. When I pointed out that mine has only done 2,700 miles whilst his has done 30,000 he was a little more comfortable. :) |
