| 説明 | President Obama recently launched the second year of the EKIP, Every Kid in a Park program with hopes that every fourth grader in America will take advantage of this great opportunity to bring their families onto public lands free of charge. The program has been a popular topic in fourth grade classrooms, and Addison McFarlane’s class is no exception. McFarlane eagerly listened to her teacher’s presentation on the free pass program and immediately became interested in this opportunity to spend more time exploring Nevada’s great public lands. McFarlane’s entire family accompanied her to the BLM NV State Office to receive her EKIP pass. While pausing for a quick photo shoot, they were already planning their upcoming outdoor adventures ahead. They are very proud of their fourth grader! The program will begin each fall as a new batch of fourth graders become eligible for the free pass. The EKIP pass is good from September 1st through August 31st of each year. For more information, please contact BLM NV Public Room at 775-861-6400.
