説明 | Our room at the Clay Hotel overlooked Espanola Way and was just over a gelato shop. Española Way is a small and charming area within South Beach with Spanish colonial architecture and overhanging café lights, on a pedestrian friendly European style street. Only about two blocks long, it’s a must-stop to shop, eat, dine, drink and people watch amongst an international crowd of tourists and locals.Just a few blocks off of busy Ocean Drive and the colorful Art Deco architecture of the area, lovely Española Way is a pleasant retreat from some of the more trafficked streets on South Beach. There’s a real sense of romance in the Spanish colonial buildings; the windows and doors are arched and covered by striped awnings, the streets are lined with palms of different varieties and potted plants along the sidewalk show off the foliage that can thrive in this lush tropical climate. Sit under an umbrella at a sidewalk table, enjoy the ocean breeze and order a plate of Mexican, Cuban, Mediterranean or Brazilian food – or just sip a coffee or cocktail – and enjoy the eclectic people watching of famed South Beach. |
